Wednesday 1st April 2020

Well the weather is as grey as my mood today. I am sure others are feeling this way too with everything that is going on in the world.

Need to keep busy.

Still no sign of our polytunnel but today it is still in Glasgow. Not moved for 3 days. Not sure whether to be hopeful or not.

I have setup our first compost heap and moved one of the compost bins in order to rot down manure kindly dropped off by Jamie and supplied by Catriona. Gold dust apparently. Hopefully they will be able to drop off some more.

The ground is ready for Ross to come and level it off with his digger but I am worried about the soil depth for the anchor plates. I won’t know until he turns up – hopefully next week.

Totally sorted the shed to begin sowing seeds this weekend. We have no plant pots so we have been saving tins and milk bottles. We have quite a few.

Just hoping the tunnel and the digger arrives now.
