We went to the beach today for a few hours. Hardly anyone there which surprised me. It was scorching hot as it has been for the last few days. Last weekend we had gales, grey skies and torrential rain. Typical of Mull. Although it has been quite windy.
Tunnel is coming on. Everything is growing well but I’m having to water twice a day now. Need to create an irrigation system. Water straight to the roots. Have to get going on the design.
Trying to keep the bracken down which has always been all over the garden and the hill. Started last year and need to keep going to reduce it year after year. This then allows for more wild flowers. We’ve got Bluebells and Foxgloves in abundance. Think they should improve year after year.
Created the frame for the brassica bed and it’s ready for the Cauliflower and Broccoli.
Tash is working on protocols for when we hopefully have Guests to stay We have secured a large supply of Hand Sanitiser and even found small tubes that we can put in the rooms for Guests to take with them.
Lots to do and get in place. No time off here.
