Very nice and simple dish to start. Smoked Salmon, Potato Salad with Gherkins and Horesradish Cream Sauce. Very simple. Very elegant.

Beautiful Fillet Steaks from Jackson Brothers in Oban. Served with Béarnaise Sauce. I can think of nothing better. Only the French would pair tender Beef Fillet with what is essentially hot mayonnaise. Genius!

A wonderful classic and I even made a nice rough puff Pastry for the top and then proceeded to under cook it. Still – rescued it and served with the sorbet. Delicious.
